Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery of several types at varying stages of the production line, performing actions quickly and safely at all times
- Monitors machine performance and adjusts machine settings accordingly.
- Unpacks, repacks, and performs other tasks to salvage discrepant material.
- Performs machine set-ups at model changeovers.
- Performs simple and repetitive assembly operations on small parts specifically.
- May perform packing operations of a finished or unfinished product.
- Sort and weigh products after packaging to ensure requirements are met and no mistakes have been made
- Apply labels and transfer products to the final shipping area, keeping them organized to aid in the shipping
- Perceive the production line ahead of you to anticipate errors and make adjustments as needed to prevent slowing down more than necessary
- Report malfunctions or errors to supervising staff immediately and relay important information about the issue
- Monitor machine operations and either repair or report malfunctions in a timely manner
- Ensure that packaged products meet safety and quality specifications
- Startup procedure followed smoothly and correctly.
- Correctly fill the report and submit it at the end of each shift
- Make sure the waste is minimized and the work floor/machine is clean
- Electronic inspector settings properly done
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or TVET level II, III, IV Diploma in related fields
- 1 /2 or more years of experience in a water factory.
Skills
- General Machinery knowledge
- Good mechanical aptitude.
