Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate console that controls automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack on pallets containers of finished products
- Read production and delivery schedules and stacking patterns to determine sorting and transfer procedures, arrangement of packages on pallets, and destination of the loaded pallets.
- Observe packages moving along the conveyor to identify packages and to detect defective packaging, and press console buttons to deflect packages to the predetermined accumulator or reject lines.
- Turn selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of packages on the pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to storage or delivery platform.
- Supply loading equipment with empty pallets.
- Inform supervisor of equipment malfunction.
- Keep a record of production and equipment performance.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or TVET/Level 2-4/ Diploma in related fields
- 1 /2 or more years of experience in a water factory.
Skills
- General Machinery knowledge
- Good mechanical aptitude.
