Post Title: Community Facilitator
Reports to: Senior Project Officer
Duty Station: Afar Regional State, Yallow and Megalle
Required: Four (Two for Yallow and Two for Megalle)

The office officially started operation in Ethiopia in 2004. Islamic Relief Ethiopia (IRE) is operational in the Somali Regional State with a base office in Jigjiga, Hargelle, Elkere, Bare, GG and Dekasuftu, Afar Regional State; Ewa, Awra and Gulina; Oromia regional State, West Harergeye, Chiro and Meayso Woredas and an additional operational office in Addis Ababa. Responsibilities Overview:
The community facilitator’s role is to provide culturally appropriate support to community like initiating the community to participate in the project execution at all level and insure the project interventions are understood by the community. Provide evidence based services to the community in relation to the planned project interventions. Create a transparent and community friendly service in the project area where he /she is responsible.
The community facilitator will also be responsible for timely implementation of the planned activities, documentation of the project plans, outputs, outcomes and reporting as per the reporting schedule set by the project under close supervision of the Senior Project Officer.
