Position Summary: 

To make sure that patients have understood what they are told by the doctor and give a proper translation, accompany the patient and perform all the runner’s activity. And are responsible for giving patients information on the hospital service, checking appointments and communicate with patients accordingly.         

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patient confidentiality is maintained.
• Clients in the reception are communicated in a timely manner
• All necessary care is provided to the patient
• Any change in physician schedule is communicated ahead to patients
• Patients (especially Chinese) understand the information clearly so that they can follow the doctor’s prescription.
• Safe patient transportation

Job Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience in a related field
• Certificate in computer skills is preferable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Having hospital experience is preferable.
• Have good communication skill.
• Have good observation skill, attention to the detail.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Have Good Customer Service skill
• Have Good Time Management skill
• Have Good Knowledge in Scheduling
• Have Good Telephone skill
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Fluent in Chinese (oral & written)
• Fluent in Amharic(oral & Written)
