We are currently recruiting a Project Manager for one of our clients who are well known comprehensive and large-scaled construction enterprise in China and other countries in the world, with over half billion USD annual turnover a many country. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be able to require reliable and concrete project tender information
• Have good network and resources to enable successful tendering process
• Be familiar with tender process and able to organize the qualified tender documents
• After the project awarded, ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate subcontracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects

Job Requirements

Areas of experience:

• Experienced in tender management project like Ministry of Construction, Federal or Regional Housing Development and Construction Bureaus, Federal or Regional Public Procurement and Property Disposal Agency, Federal or Regional Water and Sewerage Authority ECWC (Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation), Federal housing corporation, Ethiopian Electric Power/Ethiopian Electric Utilities, Ethio-Telecom, Ethiopian Construction Project Management Institution, or other large Grade One Construction Company.

Requirement

• BSc degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
• Excellent management skills, with over 7 years of management experience. 
• Excellent English communications skills, oral and written skill is required
• Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects
• Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
• Previous work experience in construction management or another similar role
• Familiar with construction and project management software programs
• Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
