The position of warehouse manager is aim to ensure that all aspect of material management including a total systems approach to plan, acquire, store, move and control the inventory of materials His/her role is concerned with over all performance of the warehouse including customer service warehouse operations and information’s systems. The warehouse manager manages and directs all activities related to the warehouse including planning and scheduling all distribution services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• As a warehouse manager he/she will typically need to:
• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
• Schedule and oversee warehouse, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
• Receive goods and ensure proper storage as per manufacturer instruction
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
• Review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
• Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
• Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
• Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Insure the good storage practice in the warehouse at all time
• Maintain Total Quality Management systems throughout his/her activities to ensure that the best possible products and services are provided to customers.
• Regularly develop a report for the line manager and ensure their approval.
• Always adhere to policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health, safety and Environmental and other regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

BSc in Pharmacy 2 year and Above with related Experience or Diploma 4 year and above in Pharmacist with related Experience.

• 2 years and above Previous experience in same position is highly preferable
• Training on supply chain management or similar courses is advantageous
