Job Requirements
MAIN REASON FOR THE POSITION – Assist the store room officer in stocking medication bins daily. Procuring medical items necessary to maintain the MMNU.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Apply nutritional knowledge of stock room maintenance to ensure the MMNU team has adequate stock of medications and supply for patients.
- Procure medical items as necessary for the daily activity of the MMNU.
- Work with staff to ensure care and communication is culturally sensitive.
- Follow SP Protocols and guideline regarding the safety and security of medication and medical supplies.
- Support clinical leadership to enforce compliance with standard infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Participate in the accurate documentation of stock room supply.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is respected at all times.
- Support clinical leadership to provide training and mentoring to other clinical staff in dissemination of new knowledge or protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for ministry, donors and voluntaries.
