Job purpose: The Project officers are technical personnel and will be responsible for implementation of the project activities in the target regions and cities.

Key responsibilities:-

• Oversee all project and following activities and support the program coordinator.
• Mastering project implementation and proving technical assistance for Combating Modern Slavery.
• Work closely with MOLSA, BOLSA, EEFC and other related government and non governmental agencies.
• Develop work plans, working in collaboration with their respective regions, city administrations and plants health centers in accordance with the objectives and results of the project,
• Serve as a focal person for the respective regions,
• Organize regional level Combating Modern Slavery sensitizations workshops and events,
• Responsible to compile the reports of the respective regions.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree in Managements, Economics, Psychology, sociology and social works
• 5 (Five) years relevant experience
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Strong communication, writing skill and local language (Afaan Oromo for Adama and Jimma)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Location: Adama, Bahirdar, Jimma, Kombolcha and Hawassa
