Future Hopes Integrated Development Organization (FHIDO) is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, secular, legally registered Ethiopian resident charity working to building self-reliant and self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through comprehensive and sustainable development approach. Its vision is to see responsible, self-reliant and empowered citizens in Ethiopia. Since 1986 to 2010 FHIDO was an area coordination office of the then Christian Children Fund CCF. After September 2010FHIDO reregistered as Ethiopian resident charity and become operational in the ten districts of Arada sub-city and two districts of Burayu town in four core programmatic areas namely, Early Childhood Development (ECD), Basic Education, Youth Development and OVC care and support programs.

For the last three years, FHIDO is implementing a project entitled “Enabling Orphan and Vulnerable Children to Access Quality Education in Arada Sub city” in partnership with ChildFund Ethiopia.

Therefore, FHIDO intended to outsource the Terminal evaluation to qualified and competent consultancy firms who fulfill the understated minimum requirements. 

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• The lead consultant should have at least Master’s Degree in Education, Sociology, Social Work or in any other related fields.
• Lead consultant should have over ten years’ significant professional and demonstrated experience in facilitating and coordinating terminal evaluation processes in the sphere of development works of Non-governmental organizations; using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, analytical skill and interpretation of results;
• The consultancy firm should have proven professional experience in terminal evaluation of similar function of Education, livelihood promotion, and related concepts.  
• Must have valid TIN and VAT certification, renewed business license for the current year and accreditation certificate from the management institute.

• A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible bidders from FHIDO main office on the address shown below within the period of May 18, 2021 to May 26, 2021.

• Each interested firm should submit its sealed Technical and Financial proposals in two separate envelopes duly marking the envelopes as “Technical” and “Financial” proposals. The document must be delivered to the address above in the bid box prepared for this purpose not later than 9:30 AM on May 27, 2021. Bid will be opened by procurement committee on the same day at 10:00 AM in the morning in the presence of bidders or their representative who choose to attend on FHIDO meeting hall.
• Qualified consultants will be considered based on their responsiveness to the requirements listed above, technical, and financial evaluation results. Finally, the winner will be notified through the firm address.
• FHIDO reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids at any time without assigning any reason or reasons whatsoever.
