Job Description
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) provides technical support to the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) based at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI).
IFPRI is currently looking to procure the services of a researcher for a consultancy to support the NIPN team in Ethiopia.

The consultant will work closely with the NIPN team to fine tune and respond to research questions. The ideal candidate will have:
Job Requirements
- PhD in Food and nutrition, Agriculture, Public health and/or related field.
- At least five years of international experience in agriculture for nutrition, food and nutrition policy research and having published in peer reviewed journals.
- Expertise in secondary data analysis (agriculture, food and nutrition, health) and working with complex datasets.
- Experience in applying different statistical methodologies, both on cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
- Experience in performing systematic review of literature and synthesis of findings.
- Having been engaged in capacity strengthening of national/government counterparts.
- Knowledge of the Ethiopian nutrition-sensitive agriculture, food and nutrition policy environment or previous global research experiences in agriculture, biofortification, nutrition, adolescent nutrition, are considered as added values during the selection process
- Fluency in English reading, writing and presentation skills a must
