Key accountability

• Commit to Occupational Health and Safety standards. Frequently state and articulate that Safety is our No.1 priority. Be visible as an ambassador for safety by behaving in a safe manner at all times and always challenging unsafe practices and behavior of others, reprimanding where appropriate. Adhere strictly to the site safety rules and systems and equipment operational procedures.
• Coordinate Meta Abo Quality and Food safety Mgt Systems according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 and monitor.
• Establish and manage the implementation of annual quality audit schedule for QMS, FSMS, DWoB and SOP across Meta to drive compliance to the standard. This includes Audit planning and audit program management.
• Liaise with external certification bodies and manage the Compliance activities for all regulatory requirements around products and operations
• Implement and ensure adherence to mandatory and appropriate quality systems-working with the Site quality assurance and risk manager to ensure the use of standard sampling plans and methodologies across Physico-chemical, packaging, microbiology, and sensory testing.-ensure the reliability of measurement through a selection of appropriate equipment, ring schemes, training and technical site support
• Champion quality operations and drive cultural change to support quality in all operations – setting appropriate standards of operations.
• Coordinate and manage laboratory equipment and analytical standards and performance for Meta.
• Effectively manage the Laboratory store(s) and inventory of Quality materials
• Create and embed process adherence on SAP application and Usage across the supply chain.
• Own the assurance, audit and audit review process for Quality management
• Own risk assessment, reporting tools and documentation standards s well as reporting protocols
• Keep all SAP users in the Supply chain updated on changes/improvement in SAP application and usage within Supply Chain
• Drive strong compliance of SAP process by all roles and HoDs across Supply Chain
• Responsible for SAP process gaps closure and reporting within Supply Chain
• Apply EISC process and manage incident investigation applying the RCPS standards

Qualifications and Experience Required

• BSc in any of the Physical/Biological Sciences/Chemical Engineering
• Training on QMS and FSMS is critical
• Minimum of 3 years QSM experience
• Expert in manufacturing SAP process management
• Strong engagement and stakeholder management
• Excellent computer skills and reporting skills
• Analytical skills are critical and should be strong at resolving problems
• Risk management and audit planning/management are key.
