Doctor of Medicine in Dental Care or in a related field of study with relevant work experience Duties & Responsibilites: - Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better dental hygiene.  - Performing dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.  - Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.  - Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.  - Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.  - Giving clients sedatives or anesthesia prior to administering treatments.  - Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.  - Using tools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth and mouth.  - Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them

TVET Level 4 in a related field of study with relevant work experience Duties & Responsibilites: - Create treatment plans for patients. - Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. - Provide advice and emotional support. - Assist surgeons during surgery. - Complete paperwork relating to patient care and progress. - Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. - Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. - Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary. - Providing great patient care. - Recording treatment information in patient records.
