Job Description
The purpose of the role is to perform and/or supervise civil works, on-site survey, network design, installation, commissioning, and integration activities of various types of equipment, from nodes, antenna systems to complete systems solutions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively plan installation & commissioning activities, like site location, documentation, transportation, tools and equipment’s;
- Install and align equipment in accordance to installation documentation and instruction to secure installation & commissioning setup;
- Perform onsite and off-site integration activities with network integration center;
- Conduct risk assessment incusing visual safety inspections and ensure safe working area and drop zones for fitting operations;
- Protect site from unauthorized access and ensure storage for installation material is in place;
- Ensure employees are familiar with the hazards in the workplace and monitor safety performance of all onsite activities;
- Ensure equipment is adequately maintained and suitable for the tasks undertake;
- Ensure that quality and safety breaches are reported, recorded, investigated and appropriate corrective actions are taken;
- Execute site audit, compile & report into the database and distribute audit reports to stakeholders;
- Monitor audit results for high running fault types, analyze the root cause and suggest improvements;
- Identify, secure and conduct Instructor Let Training (ILT) and manage all training documentation;
- Register and monitor records of the assessed, licensed and trained staff in accordance to local processes;
- Other related tasks as assigned
Requirements
Academic qualification
- BA in Engineering (Computer, Electrical and/ Civil Engineering)or other related field

Years of experience: 5 + years demonstrative Site Engineer experience preferably in a telecom Industry
