Job Description

Premier Switch Solutions S.C. is an electronic payment processing company established by major Ethiopian private banks. It has implemented a state of the art, multi-institution electronic payment platform that is serving its member banks to issue and accept payment cards.

Currently, the company has the below vacant position and would like to invite all interested applicants who might meet the qualification and experience requirements listed for the job opening.

Reporting To:  Deputy Chief Executive Officer 

Job Summary:

Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the overall activities of the marketing & operations department; ensuring the streamlined operation of the marketing & operations department is in alignment with the business objectives of the Company; providing administrative direction and support for daily operational activities; monitoring and evaluating works are executed according to the operational manuals and procedures; managing the relationship with banks, Visa, MasterCard, Ethio-telecom and other associations; advising the member banks on operational policy and procedural issues; directing and evaluating the performance of staff; preparing and compiling periodic activity reports; preparing and compiling annual budget and follows up its implementation; organizing various events; participating in exhibitions and other events; and following up various marketing and promotion activities of the Company.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management, Economics and related fields

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years work experience preferably in the area of Payment Technology; of which 3 years should be in a managerial position. The experience in banking industry or payment card environment is preferable.  

Competency:

  • Competence in managing and administrating multi-disciplinary professionals;
  • Good Leadership ability;
  • Good Decision making ability.
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Office Packages
  • Project Management Ability
  • Market intelligence
  • Report writing Ability
  • Adequate knowledge on budgeting
  • Data analysis and interpretation ability
