Job Description
- Assist NRO Cashier/Accountant and Finance and Admin Assistant in the preparation of Bank Payment Vouchers and checks, and any payments based on prepared documents.
- Distribute/pay checks against collection of receipts and/or signature of recipients.
- Facilitate training payments, loading/unloading payment, tertiary transport, perdiem, casual staff salary by traveling to each different Wereda.
- Make timely deposit of cash collections. Cancel supporting documents with “PAID” stamps.
- Liaise with the training and payment unit and maintain updated training and different payment with calendar or activity based and Ensure payments are processed timely.
- Inform Finance Officers and Project Accountants and JEOP coordinator on pending payments.

- Work in collaboration with NRO Cashier/Accountant and Finance and Admin Assistant.
- Assist in the preparation of tax reports and settle monthly withholding and income tax payments.
- Undertakes other related works ordered by immediate supervisor
Job Requirements
Qualifications Required : Bachelor degree in Management or Accounting/ Diploma in Management or Accounting
Work Experience: At least 2 years' experience for BA and 4 years for Diploma
- NGO experience is advantageous
- Good computer skill in MS Offices and operating office equipment
- Fluent in oral and written English and Tigrigna language
Working Environment / Conditions:
Field base with frequent travel to targeted woerdas.
