Job Description
Our client is looking for a Merchandiser to join their team. If you haven been working in the textile, garment and apparel industry as a merchandiser, work with various vendors and customers, and like to work closely with multiple stakeholders with an opportunity to travel in and out of the country then this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with suppliers and stores to ensure proper execution of plans
- Preparing material requirement planning, booking and make a timely communication to suppliers
- Creating and organizing promotion and advertising campaigns
- Implementation of raw material and finished goods management system
- Managing layout plans of store and maintain inventory of products
- Obtaining information on market trends in relation to company’s products
- Analyzing price, cost, sales figures and reporting growth, expansion and change in markets
- Assess sales performance of different product ranges
- Assist the production in planning and monitoring with regard to customer’s preference and export deadlines.
- Booking orders, instructing the sampling technicians on the requirements of customers.
- Orders management and daily communication of customers.
- Managing documentation, fleet and logistics related operations for export/import
Job Requirements
- BA Degree in any relevant field
- 5+ years of experience as merchandiser in textile, garment and apparel manufacturing sector
- Flexibility to travel
