Job Description

We are looking for a field service engineer responsible for the installation, maintenance and service of Banknote Processing Machines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high service quality; build up a strong link to the customer’s operational staff based on technical excellence and reliability.
• Providing full site support. 
• Keeping the system available as per the service level agreement. 
• Troubleshooting and maintenance (Preventive/corrective) of the designated system. Following the routine schedule of repairs.
• Capable of performing the installation and commissioning of Banknote Processing Machines and other products at customer sites.
• To test, measure, align, and calibrate the designated system.
• Documenting the onsite performance is a must. Following the reporting scheme, giving seniors detailed feedback.
• Research and determine the reusability of parts in accordance with the published guidelines.
• Dealing with spare parts, inventory, availability, and ordering. Managing spare parts cycle times.
• Testing the system performance and demonstrating the operation and service to the customer
• Analyze customer complaints to diagnose a system fault
• Capable of Upgrading, retrofitting, or modification for the onsite system while keeping the line manager regularly updated. 
• Capable of supporting remotely as a first line service support.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other relevant field.
• Excellent communication skill and English proficiency.
•  Resourceful and able to work independently.
•  Quick response and fast acting with the ability to adapt to change.
•  Proficient level of computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience:

• A professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time field service engineer.
•  We are looking for a field service engineer responsible for the installation, maintenance and service of Banknote Processing Machines.

Technical Skills:

•  Practical experience with tools and measuring instruments.
•  Extensive knowledge of electromechanical systems.

Electrical – Electronics:

•  Using measuring instruments like the AVO meter. o Dealing with high and low voltage circuits.
• Interpreting and comprehending the wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with electronic components such as sensors, proximity, drivers, and servo motors.
• Software backup and upgrades.

 Mechanical:

•  Dealing with sophisticated mechanical components, assembling and disassembling
• interconnected parts.
• Ability to handle, provide, and operate the needed tools for erecting and assembling
•  huge mechanical systems (trolley chain hoist, electrical chain hoist).
• Interpreting mechanical drawings. Comprehending pneumatic air control valves.
• Preferred if experienced with pneumatic systems, positive and negative air pressures,
• compressors.
• Capable of dealing with conveyors, rollers, pulleys, belts, tensions, mechanical joints, and bearings.
• Analytical thinking. Attention to details.
• Customer Management Skills.
• Ability to comprehend different installation materials
