Purpose of the job

Under direct order and strict supervision of Team Leader L1/L2; Worker L2 undertakes installation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, offices & apartments; Perform maintenance & repair of all appliances as distribution water pipe, drainage pipes, toilettes all sanitary lines, small metal works, small civil work, in the Building.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Regularly inspect, repair, and replace all building sanitary components, mechanical plumbing lines, and fittings.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
• Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators, etc.)
• Participate to perform a new type of all kinds of installation where needed

            Keep and confirm the neatness of the working area from any scrapes.

• Control and check the proper functioning of all sanitary lines in the building, office, and apartments.
• Participate in any emergency repairs
• Perform all duties as per the company’s rules and regulations.
• Handle carefully hand tools, measuring instruments, and others that the company provides him to use.
• Perform any other related tasks as required ordered by immediate supervisor & concerned person of the company.
• Regularly facilitate and follow-up in the implementation and record of quality procedures and records in the section
• Confirm the implementation of all workplace health and safety procedures, rules in the section.
• Wear PPE and confirm the use of safety devices among section employees
• Solve problems and report to the concerned department on issues of health and safety in the section.
• Keep and confirm the neatness of the working area from any scrapes.

Job Requirements

• Ability to read drawings and procedures with minimal supervisor
• Have the ability to work under pressure when required
• Team player with good communication skills and trusted person
• Sound judgment informed by practical knowledge and experience
• Have the ability to work in all mechanical aspects

Expected Education and Experience

• Grade 10+1 up to grade 10+5 – 04 years’ experience
• Plumber Level III or related field
