Job Description

First Consult is looking for a technical expert to be part of a project team which is under the proposal stage. Recruitment of the expert is subject to award. 

Job Requirements

• Education/training: University degree (master’s or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration or Organizational Development Languages, Finance or similar. Working proficiency of Amharic and English, levels in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
• General professional experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in the field of private sector development, of which 5 years with a focus on MSME and/or start-up promotion

Specific professional experience:

• 8 years of professional experience in designing and implementing change management processes at organizations / advice on organizational development, of which 4 years at public / government agencies and 4 years in the context of MSME / start-up promotion
• 8 years of professional experience in advising institutions in the field of private sector development on strategy development and/or strategy implementation, including the promotion of public-private dialogue.
• 8 years of professional experience in change management process and/or business environment reform, organizational (including strategy development and implementation and improved public service delivery)
• 8 years of professional experience in promoting innovation in the private sector
•  5 years of professional experience in the field of digital transformation of business or institutions
• 5 years of professional experience in conducting assessments in the field of private sector development
• Development cooperation (DC) experience:2- 6 years of experience working in / in cooperation with DC projects 
• Required Number : More than one
