Job Description
Job Title: Finance Head
Job Type: Permanent
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Finance department along with Purchasing and Admin Departments
- Manage the finance and admin team to ensure smooth operations
- Enforce and implement necessary accounting process controls to ensure quality and compliance including proposing updates to the financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare financial project reports to management as required.
- Manage procurement and logistics functions in the Ethiopia office and ensure proper accountability and compliance with all applicable policies.
- Other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- BA/MA in Accounting and Finance
- Above 5 years of work experience in furniture manufacturing industry
- Experience in Wood Work industry is preferred
- Familiar with Costing, tax regulations, accounting standards, financial reporting, financial analysis, stock management
Skills
- Basic Computer Skills and familiar with IT
- Efficiency focused, able to establish and lead finance, accounting, purchasing and admin department all in one
- Leadership Skills
- Ability to work across departments at different level across different sectors
- Structured, independent and ability to take on ownership from start to finish of tasks/projects
