Purpose statement

• Perform all required electrical corrective and Preventive maintenance of all workplaces within Repi soap and Detergent PLC. and technically supporting the operators.
• Assist during autonomous maintenance to reduce all technical down time of the company.
• Performs routine maintenance, installation and integration of various types of process control instrumentation equipment such as transmitters, controllers, integrators, recorders, square root extractors and final drive elements. 
• Make repairs to electrical power, motor and motor control circuits.
• undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.
• Your job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts and repairing appliances.
• The goal will be to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities

Job Requirements

Specification:

• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
• 3-5 years experience in FMCG/ soap and detergent environment.
• Proven experience as an electrician.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
