ChildFund Ethiopia is an international child focused NGO working to improve the wellbeing of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and families.  ChildFund Ethiopia wants to eligible Insurance Companies for a provision of Staff Medical Insurance services. A complete set of the bidding document (TOR) could be collected by eligible bidders from ChildFund Ethiopia office on the address shown below starting from July 14-22, 2021, working days & hours; interested Insurance Companies should bring their copy license while collecting bid document from ChildFund Office.  

ChildFund Ethiopia will not be responsible for all the tender document preparation and submission costs.

Qualified Insurance Company will be considered based on their responsiveness to the requirements listed above technical and financial evaluation results. Selection will be based on 40% Technical and 60% Financial scores weighted average. Finally, the winner will be notified through the firm’s address.

Job Requirements

• Legal requirements: Insurance companies shall provide renewed Trade license, Registration, TIN, VAT certificates/TOT (P/F)
• Company profile that contains HR, Audit Report, Facility in ChildFund proximity supported by covering letter (5)
• Insurance companies shall provide testimonials from at least three service providers for delivering similar services (10%)
• The Insurance Companies shall provide proof for minimum of five years working experience in the insurance market (10%)
• Insurance Companies shall clearly state an approach to deliver the services such as designated desk services and provision of designated account manager/officer (10%)
• Additional benefit packages beyond the requested are valued (5%)
• The firm should clearly state the unit price and total price in ETB including 15% VAT and other related cost.

How to Apply

Interested bidders should submit their sealed Technical and Financial proposals in two separate envelopes duly marking the envelopes as “Technical” and “Financial” proposals. And Copy of the financial proposal must be submitted separately duly marking “copy financial proposal”. The document must be delivered to the address above in the bid box prepared for this purpose on or before 2:00 PM (8:00 local time) 23^rd May 2021. The bid will be opened by the procurement committee.
