Purpose

This position require for ALP ( Agricultural Labor Practices) and STP ( Sustainable Tobacco Program) execution, development & implementation in Ethiopia Leaf.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

•  ALP & STP goals achievement & execution
• Communication with internal & external stake holders. Collaboration and influence with teams to achieve ALP & STP goals achievement & execution
• Training materials development & reporting (internal & global)
• Conduct ATs & Growers Trainings to improve their knowledge on ALP & STP goals
• Engage growers & ATs with collaboration of stakeholders to achieve objectives
• Execute CoP (cost of production), afforestation activities, carbon emersion reduction initiatives and community program development

Other:

• Manage related tasks and projects as they arise and upon Manager’s assignment.

Brief outline of main duties:     

 'ALP program- (Child Labor, Rights of work, Work place health and safety) and STP program

       -Execute ALP & STP goals with collaboration of team

       -Monitoring & evaluation of ALP & STP goal achievements

       -Observation visit for further improvement & development of team effort

       -Carbon emission reduction planning & execution

       -Community program planning & execution

       -Afforestation program planning & execution

       -Training material development

       -Conduct training program for both of employees and farmers

       -Budget preparation for ALP & STP program

       -CoP conduct and Analysis

       -Communication with internal, external & global stakeholders

       -Internal & global reporting, summarization, evaluation & analysis

Job Requirements

Education:

• BSc or MSc Degree in Agricultural Engineering from any recognize University or related fields

Work experience:

• 4 & above years’ service in ALP and/or STP 

Knowledge & Skills:

• Fluency in English (both writing & speaking) & Good & effective communication skills 
• Should have leadership and motivational skills
• Must have sound computer skills
• Should have collaboration and influence capability
• Ability to drive motorcycle
• Knowledge of Collective Labor Agreement, Internal Regulations and Safety Policy of the company
