BACKGROUND
Intrinsic Consultancy PLC is an Ethiopian consulting firm specializing in holistic business and end-to-end investment advisory services, enterprise competitiveness and value chain development. We provide quality and efficient consultancy services extending from facilitating entry of foreign investors to Ethiopia to institutional capacity building and work culture transformation for public and private organizations. Intrinsic Consultancy has a strategic focus on the Textile and Apparel, Leather and Footwear, Pharmaceutical, and Agro-Processing sectors.
BACKGROUND SPECIFIC TO THIS ASSIGNMENT
Large enterprises (local and foreign direct investment) can become catalysts for growth and development of MSMEs through their market linkages. For example, only 10% of factories’ in industrial park exports are added-value in-country. This is a major opportunity for local manufacturers to fill the gap and substitute the 90% of work imported currently.
