Job Summary
Under the supervision of the procurement Division Manager undertakes the entire local and foreign purchasing activities of the factory; accepts and implements newly introduced system.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in planning local and foreign purchase by availing statistical data and market information as required by procurement division.
- Collects pro-forma invoices, prepares offer analyses inspects preparation of purchase order and follows-up deliveries.
- Ensures that the materials delivered are of the right specification as stated by the user and ascertains that all local and foreign purchase documents are passed over to finance dept for settlement.
- Reviews and handles all relevant correspondences and communications with local and foreign Suppliers.
- Adheres to the existing local and foreign Purchase procedures, systems of reporting and purchase follow up.
- Prepares and compiles all statistical data and progress report of local purchases.
- Organizes, coordinates expedites the delivery of local and foreign purchased goods to the right destination.
- Communicates purchasing activities with the local and foreign purchase section, the stores and the requesting unit to ensure planned, economical purchasing and technical suitability.
- Maintains an up-to-date and complete list of suppliers with their addresses and compiles material specifications and market information of demanded commodities
- Ascertains the proper maintenance of all local and foreign purchase related documents.
- Audits each activity is being run in the manner prescribed in the manual.

- First Degree in Supply Management /Management/Economics/supply Chain management or related fields
Work Experience
- First Degree in Supply Management /Management/Economics/supply Chain management and 2-5 years relevant experience
