Job Description
The Management Committee of the AU Staff Credit Union invites applicants who are interested and qualified for the post of Supervisor as specified below.
Position Level: P1-Regular
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Supervisor: Treasurer
Under the supervision of the Treasurer or the Assistant Treasurer of the Management Committee, the supervisor shall handle all activities relating to the operations of the Union. The incumbent shall supervise the daily operations of the AU Staff credit Union ensuring that transactions are properly accounted for and processed in line with the statutes and rules governing the operations of the union. The Supervisor is responsible for ascertaining the daily functions are congruent with the internationally accepted standards of the accounting principles.

Language requirement
Proficiency in one of the African Union working languages is a requirement; Knowledge of one or more of the other AU working languages would be an added advantage.
Tenure of Appointment
The appointment shall be for an initial period of three (3) years, of which the first twelve months will be considered as a probationary period. Thereafter, the contract will be renewable subject to satisfactory performance and fund availability.
