Job Purpose: Microbiologist is a crucial quality control role that must be performed well to ensure the safety of products.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Performs testing in accordance with standard operating procedure and regulations
2. Monitors, adjusts, creates and validates test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
3. Investigates abnormality related to microbiological test results.
4. Contributes ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, improve protocols, processes and equipment.
5. Communicates deviations, progress and interim results to the Management team.
6. Maintains detailed record of observations and data from experiments performed and prepare reports.
7. Keeps lab equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

• BSc Degree in Applied Biology and related field of studies
