On this regard, we are looking for best fit candidates to the following vacant positions.

PROCUREMENT & SUPPLIES SECTION HEAD

• Plans co-ordinates, directs and controls all the activities and performances of the procurement and stores and through them all purchasing and store function of the Company;
• Ensures the timely placing of purchase orders and the fulfillment of the necessary purchasing formalities for consistent supply of materials for the smooth running of the company’s activities
• Ensures the proper receiving, storage, issuance, delivery, operations of warehouse and also the provision of adequate warehouse facilities, security, safety and fire or
• Passes purchase requisitions to procurement on time with exact economic order quantities, and other necessary information on those items whose stock balances have reached reorder levels;
• Approves purchase requisitions up to the level of authority delegated;
• Coordinates the taking of physical inventory and the reconciliation of stock balance in stores with those recorded in the books of accounts;
• Studies and recommends improvements in inventory control procedures, forms and processes and implements the same upon approval by the top management;
• Directs controls and evaluates the activities of personnel engaged in procurement and stores activities
• Compiles, analyzes and prepares period reports of the service;
• Performs other related duties as required.

Transport: Service available from AA and Bishoftu

Job Requirements

• BA in Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management
• 6 years of related work experience of which 2 years in supervisory position
• ERP (SAGE) knowledge and experience is advantageous
