On this regard, we are looking for best fit candidates to the following vacant positions.

FINANCE SERVICE MANAGER

• Prepare the operational plan for the activities of the department;
• Assign tasks and supervise and control the staff of the department to ensure compliance with the (legal/statutory) requirements, standards and procedures and meeting the key performance indicators, and the requirements of the annual work plan/budget;
• Act as a resource person on general accounts matters Keeps accounting records of financial transaction in accordance with IFRS and legal requirement Prepares and records assets, liabilities, revenues, and cost and expenses entities by competing, analyzing and coding to each existing projects per each directorates.
• Maintains balance subsidiary account /job accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciliation of transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Responsible for maintaining bank reconciliation of all the company’s bank account within 7 days of the next month Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account, preparing trial balance, reconciling entities and making ready the company account for monthly financial statement preparation
• Summarizing financial status by collecting information, preparing monthly financial reports within 10 days of the next month that includes balance sheet, profit and loss statements, profit and loss statements by projects plan against actual performance analysis notes to the financial statements, cash flow statement and cash projection vs actual analysis report
• Ensure that proper commercial accounting systems, procedures and internal controls are being followed correctly;
• Control all payment orders/vouchers and other payment documents and ensure that these documents have been prepared in accordance with the supporting documents and rules and regulations concerned;
• Follows up that taxes and insurance payments and collection are handled on time; verifies that insurance claims are submitted in respect of all missing/damaged goods or equipment’s and checks correctness of claim computations;
• Has to ensure the receipt of all purchased goods are evidenced with goods receiving notes and all products produced by finishing goods receiving notes and their issuances are evidenced by store issue voucher and checking the proper authorization and approval of all those documents
• Performs other related duties as required.

Transport: Service available from AA and Bishoftu 

Job Requirements

• BA in Accounting and Finance
• 8 years for BA of which 3 Years in Managerial Position
• ERP (SAGE) knowledge and experience is advantageous
