Overview The process operator contributes to the company by operating machines to aid in plant processes, and perform routine maintenance checks. They are self-motivated team players who have an aptitude for computers and mechanics.

Task and Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and ensure entire production runs smoothly
• Ensure productions materials are available to complete operations as needed
• Maintain and monitor the machine to make sure it functions properly
• Ensure to maintain the cleanliness of assigned work floor and equipment
• Adjust machines as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
• Conduct quality checks periodically
• Maintain 5S of all tools and accessories in production area
• Forklift license/experience is a plus
• Comply with established safety and security standards by wearing proper protective equipment

Job Requirements

Knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of Production Procedures
• Occupational training such as first aid, Health and Safety and security awareness
• Speak and Read/Write in English

Qualifications and education required

• Diploma from a technical institute
• Minimum 3 years in a similar field
• Completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty

Personal competencies

• Self-motivated, independent, solution orientated, a deadline-driven individual with strong time management skills
• Proficiency with hand tools
• Build mutually beneficial relationships internally and externally
• Problem solving skills
• Good Communication skills both written and verbal
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
