Soufflet has started its operation in Ethiopia in 2017 is commissioning its malt factory in Addis Ababa while actively working on local malt barley sourcing.

To manage its cost our company is looking to hire its Cost Controller : 

Core Mission : 

 The Cost Controller is responsible to perform and supervise process costing, inventory valuation and cost related ledgers, fixed asset accounting and related ledgers management. He/she is responsible to deal with cost accounting according to Ethiopia Context.

He /she is responsible to ensure all transactions are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations, with excellent communication with Production and agronomy departments

Major Responsibilities :

• Fixed Asset accounting and registration/write off
• Stock and Goods in Transit accounting
• Periodic stock count and reconciliation 
• Fixed asset verification process
• Process Costing and prepare process closing journal
• Prepare price adjustment journal
• Sub ledger balance with GL balance reconciliation
• Journal Approval
• Other GL accounts reconciliation
• Monthly GL period closure and reporting as per the period end closing calendar
• Checking cost accumulation sheet
• Manage the external audit process with respect to GL accounting
• Accruals and prepayment accounting

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Minimum of BA Degree in Accounting and Finance

Experience 

• Minimum of 4 Years of related Experience

• IT skill (ERP system, Microsoft Excel, Email….)
