Currently, our business unit Dereja is undertaking projects in tackling the issue of youth unemployment. Dereja is a pioneer in establishing Career Center services in Higher Education Institutions, organizing regional and national job fairs and design and deliver employability skills training for fresh graduates. Thus, we are looking for a Content Writer that has extensive experience in Content Writer. S/he will mainly work with the IMS communication team and reports directly Dereja Program Director.

Job Summary

Videographers will be in charge of planning, filming, and editing videos that will chronicle Dereja’s journey and success. S/He collaborates with the communication team to create high-quality videos that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and increase brand awareness.

Job Description

• Film videos on set or location.
• Plan the shoot with the creative team and the client.
• Edit footage in post-production.
• Working with the communications team to create the film or video product
• Determines the necessary technical supports, such as lighting, sound, backdrops, and special needs, necessary for the video productions in advance of production dates.
• Applies videography, production, and post-production skills in the planning, management, and documentation of video shoots.
• Coordinates pre-shoot planning and documentation with team members and location staff.
• Collaborates with internal teams in obtaining information required for developing instructional product support videos
• Executes pre-production planning and video components such as composites, scripts, motion graphics, visual effects, video, audio, and editing.
• Calibrating and maintaining equipment
• Make Videos and build documentation of Dereja’s journey.
• Lays out a story line and builds a story for event documentation.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital and multi-media, including videography and video editing, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in digital and multi-media
• Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer literacy.
• Prior successful work experience in educational media or publishing.
• Competent, working knowledge of video equipment and Adobe Premiere Pro software such as Photoshop, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new production systems and workflows.
• Ability to function in and adapt appropriately to a fast-moving, cross-unit team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with camera equipment.
