We are pleased to announce the vacancy for Specialist - NOC in Network operations and Maintenance within Technology function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to EHOD – Network operations and Maintenance, the role holder will be responsible Management of Company Service Operations and processes in all areas of operations within Technology. Management of service requests from internal users and external customers and ensure they are fulfilled within defined OLA’s/SLA’s and enhance timely service delivery.

Job responsibilities

• Service Request Management - Timely resolution and escalation of services according to defined OLA’s & SLA’s.
• Incident Management
• Incident categorization and prioritization
• Timely incident escalation and communication according to defined OLA’s & SLA’s.
• Event Management - Operational Monitoring & Control with a view of proactive detection of events before they result to incidents.
• Reporting and Analysis - Development and analysis of relevant management reports on various key aspects of the section’s responsibilities
• Service Management Processes and Quality - Documentation of processes to drive the Service Operations function.
• Cost Management - Manage OPEX costs within the section
• People Management - Manage the performance of staff in Recruit, develop and retain a high performing team with clear objectives and career development plans which are regularly reviewed

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• 7 years’ experience as a support analyst in a User Support environment, of which 2 years should be in supervisory level with proven track record.
• Must have a good Leadership, Managerial and supervisory skills coupled with hands on experience in mentoring/coaching staff
• ITIL Certifications or Equivalent
• Microsoft Certification: MCSE, MCSA, MCP, ICDL certification, A+ Certification - Hardware & Software and CISCO Certification: CCNA
• Post graduate qualification or equivalent in IT Service Management – support and delivery & IT Projects Management
• Experience in managing 3rd Party contractors/management of SLAs
• Experience in both hardware/software/system/network support e.g. as a technician, supervisor or team leader
• Contracts and Service Level Agreements Maintenance
