Soufflet has started its operation in Ethiopia in 2017 is commissioning its malt factory in Addis Ababa while actively working on local malt barley sourcing.

Core Mission 

The Intake/Dispatch Operator main mission is to perform the reception of barley in bulk/bags and the expedition of malt in bulk/bags. The Intake/Dispatch Operator is also responsible of weighing the trucks entering and leaving the plant. He/she is also responsible of the cleaning of the areas under his/her control.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Weight each truck enterieng and leaving the plant and records the informations in the appropriate logbooks.
  •  Manage the flow of trucks at the reception and assign the truck driver to the correct intake area and monitor unloading.
  • Manage the daily labors to have speedy unloading operations and ensure safe working conditions;
  • Performs the reception of bulk barley in the appropriate barley silo.
  • Ensure the proper tracking of each reception.
  • Ensure the total absence of insect in the barley.
  • Alerts the Silo Deputy in case of deviation.
  • Manage the flow of trucks for the expedition of products (malt, by-products) and assign the truck driver to the correct expedition area and monitor correct loading.
  • Perform the expedition of the by-products.
  • Perform the expedition of malt in bulk, based on the customers requirements.
  • Manage the daily labors to have speedy loading operations and ensure safe working conditions; Ensure the proper tracking of each expedition.
  •  Identify and signal any deviation to the Maintenance Department.

Job Requirements

Qualification 

  • BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Management, Business Administration or related fields 

Experience 

  • More than three years of experaince in FMCG industry 
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry is preferred
