Awash Bank is looking to hire qualified applicants who fulfill the following requirements 

Qualification & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Management, Accounting, Economics and related field, Graduate Degree with a concentration on Financial Services Law and Regulation plus a minimum of 12 years related compliance and/or Operational Risk experience in the Financial Service Industry.

Job Summary 

• The jobholder is responsible for providing leadership to AIB’s enterprise risk management function by overseeing and expanding the implementation of the enterprise risk management programs for AIB’s banking and non-banking operations and promoting a company-wide culture of compliance and operational risk management among senior management and business units.
• S/he advises the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and Bank personnel of emerging compliance issues and guides the Bank in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks. S/he is also responsible for developing and implementing a standardized framework to identify, quantify, measure, report, and mitigate risk across the Bank.
