We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Quality, Environment and Health and Safety Expert in Network Deployment Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the Project Manager and Head of Network Deployment, the role holder will help to create a culture that helps the organization to be committed to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety in processes and products. The role holder will also be responsible for creating and following policies and procedures to meet the project’s defined quality needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and manage processes with audits and prevention.
• Establish and manage process and methods of inspection and verification of the deliverables.
• Arrange and organize to make sure what quality policies, procedures, tools, techniques, and templates will be used and followed by projects.
• Make sure industry quality standards, specific governmental, legal, or regulatory constraints are taken into consideration during planning and conducting of quality management.
• Identify quality requirements and/or standards for the project and its deliverables and documenting the how the project will demonstrate compliance with quality requirements and/or standards.
• Output reports on quality metrics of projects how projects compliance with set quality and standards.
• Monitor and record the results of executing the quality management activities to assess performance and ensure the project outputs are complete, correct, and meet requirements.
• Use all possible industrial tools and techniques during quality planning, managing, and controlling.
• With a zero-injury mind-set, engage leaders and champion the implementation of Health, Safety and Wellness strategies across projects and operations
• Collaborate with engineers and physicians to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Provide new-employee health and safety orientations, and conduct safety training and education programs.
• Investigate health-related complaints, and inspect facilities to ensure that they comply with public health legislation and regulations

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field
• Advanced Degrees is an advantage
• Proven work experience with operators, vendors, and subcontractors is an advantage
• Certification in Quality Assurance, Occupational health and Safety related to rollout and operations
• Six Sigma Certification is an advantage
• 2+ years of practical experience within in Quality, Environment and Health and Safety for Roll-out and/or Operations
• Good understanding of related standards in Quality, Environment and Health and Safety
• In depth experience in telecommunication project for, Environment and Health and Safety is and advantage.
