Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager oversee the JTI Group Reporting roles & responsibilities of the Entity (financial accounting, Monthly Trial Balance Preparation, JTI Required Disclosures and Reporting Requirements, etc). The position will involve working with other finance functions such as Local Business Services and FP&A as well as being the key point of contact with JTI Global Functions (Corporate Accounting, Consolidation Team, etc).

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Perform statutory (Navision) to Group (JTI) reporting procedures at month end
• Liaise with JTI colleagues (Corporate Accounting, Consolidation, Lease Accounting Team, etc) for any queries or explanations required related to submissions of group accounts
• Perform Lease accounting (update IFRS 16 information in Global system, reconcile local entries with information provided from group)
• Perform and submit for review monthly and quarterly JTI reporting requirements to Corporate HQ teams
• Strive to continuously improve statutory to group reporting by seeking efficiencies to the current trial balance submission setup.

Job Requirements

Education:

• University Degree in Accounting

Qualification Preferred

Work experience:

• 2+ years Associate level experience in an accounting based role, with an entity which reports on IFRS basis.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Open minded, patient
• Multitasker with a hands on approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
