Oromia Pastoralist Area Development Coordination Commission has the following vacant post and wants to hire qualified employees for Lowland Livelihoods Resilience Project (LLRP), which is funded by World Bank, IFAD.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Regional Project Coordinator, the Rangeland Cluster Support Team (RCST) Leader is a focal person for M&E besides leading RCST members and oversight livelihood Program, Rangeland & Pasture Development, Community Sub-project implementation, procurement and financial management activities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science, Economics, Sociology, Rural Development, Management or other related fields of study

Work Experience

  • Eight (8) years in coordination planning, monitoring and implementation of projects preferably in donor-funded projects skills and knowledge

Skill and Knowledge

  • Good interpersonal communication in English
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Good report writing ability
  • Computer application skills

Basic Salary: 32,211.86

Quantity Required: 1 (One)

Duty Station: At Rangeland Cluster Support Team (RCSTs), Zone Capital

Terms of Contract: One year contract subjected to renewal based on performance

Benefits Packages: As per the benefit packages of the project

N.B. Knowledge of working language i.e Afan Oromo is Mandatory (Writing, Reading & Speaking)
