The Addis Ababa University of Education and Behavioral Studies is seeking to fill the following vacant position in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.

Qualification:

• PhD.in Curriculum Design and Development with a concentration on Primary School Curriculum Development, MA in Curriculum and Instruction and B.ED n Pedagogical Science or Higher Diploma in Teaching at Higher Education
• Additional Education and Training in related & relevant fields

Required No. 1 (One)

Work Experience & Research

• At least 20 years service in Teacher Education College and University with a rank of Assistant Professor, of which
• Five years after earning a Ph.D. Degree
• 15 years in teaching and conducting research, advising and examining thesis at the postgraduate level in Curriculum Studie, Teacher Education, Vocational Education and Adult Education and Community Development, Educational Planning and Management, etc
• Service as Higher Diploma Program leader and coordinator at least for five years
• Service as an instructor in Teacher Training Institute at least for five years
• Experience in Developing Modular Materials for Teacher Education and Distance Education Programs in Curriculum Studies & Instructional Methods & General Pedagogy
• At least 10 years of experience in academic administration positions (Department Head, Graduate & Course Coordinator, etc)
• Active involvement in community service (Training, Mobilizing the community for development, consultancy, etc)
• Published at least 3 Journal Articles in Curriculum Studies and Instruction and reviewed Journal Articles for publications
