Description:

  • Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products.
  • Follow up on warm leads ( potential clients)
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices, etc. and present their benefits
  • Evaluate and suggest a modification to the sales scriptural with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing Management, Economics, Business Management or any other related field and
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in technology sales (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role
  • Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain the MMCY value proposition as it relates to everyone you speak
  • An obsession with prospect happiness - sets the stage for effective sales follow-up
  • The intellectual horsepower to become a trusted resource on MMCY in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to keep learning about all its intricacies for years to come as well as the industry we serve
