We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Immigration Specialist within HR Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the International Mobility Champion , the role holder will be responsible for supporting on-ground immigration and mobility process for staff that will be on both Short-term assignments and Long-term assignments requiring re-locations support from one country to another.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Tracking and reporting service requests progress to ensure no gaps for various required permits (Business Visa’s, work permits, resident IDs etc)
  • Liaising with different governmental agencies to facilitate employees’ visa, work permits, resident IDs
  • Oversee the completion of all the relevant visa and immigration document and ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the government
  • Insuring all the information providing by employee is accurate and correct according to the legal requirement, preparing and checking all legal documents
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meeting related to the post
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of immigration procedures, laws and regulations
  • Any other responsibility that maybe assigned by the supervisor 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline in Law or HR related disciplines
  • At least 3 years work experience in a corporate immigration setting
