About IOM
Under the overall supervision of the IOM-SLO Addis Ababa Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Migration Management Program Coordinator, the incumbent will oversee the activities tasked to the Labor Migration and Human Development sub-unit within the Migration Management Unit (MMU), specifically responsibilities in relation to, planning, designing and implementing labor migration and development related initiatives aimed at protecting migrant workers as well as contribute to a better understanding of the links between international migration and development in order to harness the development potential of migration and optimize the benefits of labor migration for the benefit of both societies and migrants and contribute to sustainable development and poverty reduction. In order to deliver his/her responsibilities, the incumbent will be expected to work in close collaboration with counterparts in the Government and civil society organizations in Ethiopia.
