The Team leader will assist the Assistance Security Manager in providing a safe and secure hotel environment by ensuring that every employee at every level is aware that safety and security is reliant on their everyday activities. Maintaining sound security methods and procedures in line with a hotel and corporate policies, guidelines, hotel’s business plan and according to local requirements.
- Major responsibilities;
- To supervise the smooth running of the security department
- Inspecting and briefing his/her charges before the deployment to ensure that they are neat and tidy in appearance.
- Training of new Security Officers to impart job knowledge and skills.
- Delegate, monitor and inspect daily checks and tasks carried out by the security team
- To supervise on functions, VIP arrivals and other events in case of additional security guards or special preparations
- Patrols the hotel on a regular basis and documents activities in accordance with corporate safety and security policies.
- Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures and security department’s responsibility in an emergency.
- Know hotel standards of operation and department procedures.
- Ensure control procedures in all operational aspects in accordance with hotel policy.
- Ensures a good key management system is adhered to
- To handle complaints, investigates and thoroughly reports on guest or employee injuries, thefts, assaults, lost property, car accidents, loud parties, vandalism and other safety and security related issues
- Maintain a high level of discipline & punctuality along with regular attendance as required by the standard.
- Maintain, inspect and test all security & safety systems as per daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and six monthly checks
- Ensure proper filing of records and storage is done for future references
- Communicates with the Assistance Security Manager or the Chief Security Officer, regarding any safety and security related matters in order to provide a safe and secure to hotel guests and employees.

- Excellent communication both written and oral in English
- Good Computer literacy (Microsoft applications)

- Strong sense of observation and quick response/reflex to a situation.
Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a Security Supervisor role within a 3-5 Star Hotel or similar industry or police/military or airport security
Educational background; Minimum diploma in any fields
