 Our organization is currently on operation of a project managing a coffee training center established by Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority in collaboration with different partners. The main objectives of the coffee training center are.

• Deliver selected and relevant trainings related to the coffee for all stakeholders found within the industry.
• Organize different events with the objective of bringing coffee actors together and promote the culture of coffee.
• Create a conducive environment for all stakeholders within the coffee industry to use the center as a center of excellence and resource.
• Emerging as a center for cultivating a productive relationship among all coffee industry stakeholders

 Our organization is looking for a qualified candidate to deliver coffee brewing (barista) training as Coffee Training Center Coffee Brewing (Barista) Trainer. The modality of employment will be a project-contract based where the trainer will provide coffee brewing (barista) training as an external trainer and will be paid per training delivery (hourly base). The employment will be under Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA) and engagement time will be indefinitely as the trainer will engage based a monthly training calendar prepared in consultation with the center management team.

 The duties of the CTC Coffee Brewing (barista) Trainer Include:

 In collaboration with the coffee training center team organize standard training delivery materials. The training materials will be developed by the project management team but the trainer will also work with the team to provide insights.

• Deliver coffee brewing (barista) training for registered participants
• Conduct training pre & post assessment for coffee brewing (barista) training delivered.
• Organize training delivery report after each round of delivery.
• Maintain smooth communication in events of schedule changes forced by personal and other challenges.
• Engage on additional certification or upskilling trainings organized by coffee training center (CTC) team and using personal networks
• Engage on coffee brewing (barista) training delivery enhancement activities in collaboration with coffee training center team.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Management, Economics and Social Science fields.
• Local and International standard certification for coffee brewing (barista) training delivery
• At least 5-7 years direct experience in coffee brewing (barista) training delivery
• Experience in training delivery plan development and execution.
• Experience in operation of advanced coffee brewing (barista) machineries.
• Experience in taking leadership role in cultivating partnership with different stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to update him/herself with current practices of training and coffee industry
• Excellent professional development and upskilling capacity
• Sound knowledge of government operations and understanding of Ethiopian Coffee and Tea industry. 
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent English written and oral communication, as well as basic computer skills
