Invitation for External Audit Service
Hope International Development Agency [HIDA] is not-for profit and non-religious organization registered with Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia – Agency for Civil Society Organization under registration no. 0836 as Foreign Charity in Accordance with the Charities and Societies Proclamation No. 1113/2019 with a registration certificate renewed on 22nd May 2019.
HIDA would like to invite Eligible Certified audit firms registered under AABE and which meet the criteria indicated below, to take on the audit of its books of accounts for the year to be ended 31st December 2021 on IPSAS accrual bases of accounting.
Job Requirements
Interested audit firms should submit their technical and financial proposals in a sealed envelope which includes:-
- Copy of renewed /recent professional and/or business license
- Copy of Certificate of compliance from the office of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (ABBE)
- Copy of Tin and VAT certificate
- Copy of Tax clearance
- Staff composition and firm profile, including principal partner
- Previous audit experience with NGOS and preferably on IPSAS based accounting, if possible
- Estimated Time frame, final audit report submission date
- Other relevant information for the audit work
Deliverables
- Audit Report, and
- Management Letter.

Bidders should submit to HIDA office during office hours Monday to Friday from 8: a.m. to 5 p.m. starting from October 1, to October 15, 2021 both Technical and Financial proposal (clearly indicating VAT) to the address below:
