Job Description
Co-ordinate and work with other management functions to ensure that the food safety and quality management system is established, implemented, and maintained effectively and efficiently.
Prepare FSMS 22000 and ISO 9001 based food safety and quality management system implementation plan.
Draw the flow diagram of raw materials, processes in detail and verify for its accuracy and correctness.
Identify all local legislations that may affect the food safety, quality and related matters and incorporate into the food safety and quality management system as appropriate.
Identify all possible hazards and conduct hazard analysis on raw materials, process, and distribution.
Determine the necessary control measures for the identified hazards, including identification of CCP’s, determining critical limits.
Establishing the necessary monitoring system for each CCP and an appropriate corrective action when deviation from critical limit occurs.
Co-ordinate the creation and/or the revision of food safety and quality management system documents and ensure their implementation.
Distribute the food safety and quality management system documents to the locations where they are needed for implementation.
Validation and verification of the HACCP plan and other control measures (PRPs) identified to control the possible hazards.
Give information, training, and guidance to the employees on the documented food safety management system; and
Identify the root causes and initiate appropriate corrective actions for the non-conformities identified during the internal and external audit and follow-up the implementation of the corrective actions.
Review the HACCP plan and the pre-requisite programs whenever required.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Expected Education and Experience
BSc Degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry or Biology
2 years of experience working with quality systems.
