ICS Addis is recruiting an experienced, motivated, and passionate school nurse who can support the Health Office with data management and reporting. The nurse is expected to keep nursing records to a high standard ensuring that records are kept in proper order so that student's health information can be easily located. The nurse is responsible to collect medical information and update medical records of students, verify the accuracy of the student's medical information, and obtain missing information. Successful candidates along with other nurses, will support running of the drop- in clinic, caring for sick and injured students and employees and provide first-aid, emergency care and treatment as necessary, and during sport events and other school activities. 

Job Requirements

Education Background

• The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in nursing with a minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing and must have a current nursing license.
• The applicant must have previous experience in health data management, be able to enter confidential medical data accurately and be able to generate different medical reports of students.
• Advanced degree in area of specialization, experience working in similar international schools and previous experience working in Ethiopia is preferred.

Required skills

• Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal skills,
• Have superior organization skills
• Must have excellent computer skills ( in Excel, google docs, google sheets and other google platform and Microsoft office programs) and knowledge of software for database maintenance.
• Applicants must be willing to work Saturday and weekends when ICS is hosting a tournament or school activity that requires nursing care.
