Job Description

  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, forward calls, providing information, taking      messages, or scheduling appointments.
  • Greet guests and visitors and direct or escort them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
  • Entail a personal, professional and helpful image to visitors and provide the best possible service.
  • Keep desk and lobby neat and clean at all times.
  • Confer and cooperate with other work units as needed to ensure coordination of activities.
  • Photocopies documents.
  • Performs other activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor. 

Job Requirements

Diploma or Level III or Level IV in Secretarial Science, Office Management, TVET programs with two (2) years of demonstrated experience in reception, photocopying or secretarial activities.

Or

Certificate in Level I or Level II in Secretarial Science, Office Management TVET programs with four (4) years of experience in reception, photocopying or secretarial activities.
