The main purpose of job

To review and evaluate control systems and procedures to ensure that management policies are being complied with, assets are safeguarded, information is maintained securely and accurately and legal requirements are complied with

Main Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate internal procedures and supporting documentation to ensure that they provide an effective control system and to identify any weaknesses
• Carry out audits and compliance testing to ensure that procedures are operating effectively with appropriate controls and recommend changes where necessary
• Provide information and assistance to managers and staff to enable them to comply with financial and statutory requirements
• Carry out reviews of specific functions and processes to promote the best value and recommend improvements
• Planning and designing auditing programs and necessary tasks to be completed
• Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports
• Organize meetings with management and stakeholders to discuss findings and audit outcomes
• Assisting in the auditing process as and when required
• Submitting audit plans and reports promptly for further analysis by management
• Good computer skills
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills…Manages and evaluates the financial movement of the farm and follow up of production costs, financial statements, and makes corrections as required to secure farm budget proposals

Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

• BA or MA degree in finance, accounting, or commerce
• CPA certification and an active license to work as an accountant is a special advantage
• 3 years and above work experience as an auditor, with a working knowledge of different accounting software (experience in automated systems auditing is a privilege)
• An in-depth understanding of tax, business compliance, and financial regulations
• Good Knowledge of auditing best practices, such as GAAP and internal auditing and control measures
• Able to understand financial cost management and analysis principles and norms
• Capable of managing auditing tasks with ensuring efficient completion of accurate audits
• Able to manage and train junior auditors, and maintaining levels of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the company
• Significant work Experience in auditing import-export, transport, industrial, and agricultural businesses entities 
• Good experience and knowledge in auditing procedures, standards and capable of practicing audit evidence types in his/her day-to-day activities
• Good analytical skills and rich experience in financial, performance, compliance… report audits
• Capable enough to analyze large volumes of data and generating innovative ideas in improving entity level internal controls of the company
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Good personality and work ethics
• Significant experience in auditing projects of various sizes and
• Superb written and verbal communication skills and innovation in reporting, presenting, and documenting audit results…
