Major duties & responsibilities
- The Project Accountant is responsible to follow up, prepare and produce and provide financial transaction and report or information to project coordinator, Program Manager and EKHCDC head office finance and analyzing accounting data and produce reports. The position holder will ensure that programs are implemented per agreements document and plan. Also he/she self with federal, state and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed action. Monthly prepare financial report and document settlement by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information from project area. And maintains organization customer confidence and projects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Duty Station: Dessie & Merssa Town with field visit to project intervention Kebeles
No of Position: Two (2)
Job Requirements
Education:
- BA degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management and Economics or related fields of study from the recognized University
Experience:
- Have at least 3years of experience in managing complex finance transaction in NGO settings
Additional skills required:
- Good basic computer knowledge, email communication,
- Providing trainings
- Motor bike license
